1.What we do with your personal information
When you complete a purchase from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, address, contact number(s), delivery address and email address.
When you visit the Cape Teal Soaps website/shop, we may send one or more cookies which is a small file containing a string of characters, to your computer. This file (cookie) identifies your browser. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service by storing user preferences or storing session information. Most browsers are initially setup to accept cookies, but you can set your browser preferences to refuse all cookies, or to notify you when a cookie is being sent.
With your permission, we may send you emails/notifications about new products and updates. You can unsubscribe from this service at any time.
We will not disclose any information about individual users voluntarily, except as described in this Privacy Policy, or to comply with applicable laws or valid legal process, or to protect the rights or property of Cape Teal Soaps Shop or others, or to assist our marketing officer with resolving complaints about unsolicited email.
2. Consent
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, your consent to our collecting and using that information for that specific reason only is implied.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, such as marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, and provide you with an opportunity to decline.

4. Woocommerce
Our store is hosted by Woocommerce. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
5. Payment:
Payment may only be made via EFT or via SnapScan. Once an order is placed, an invoice will be sent to you with our banking details or a QR for SnapScan. There are no credit card facilities at the moment. We will not store your banking details at any time.
6. Data Integrity
Cape Teal Soaps processes personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We review our data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store and process the personal information needed to provide or improve our services. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to update or correct their personal information whenever necessary and possible
7. Third-Parties
Certain third-party service providers, such as SnapScan and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand their terms and conditions.

When you click on 3rd party advertorial links on our store (should there be any), they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
