A go-to soap made using Rooibos Tea, and coconut, olive, grapeseed and avocado oils. The essential oil used is Buchu (made from a heather-type South African shrub).
Next – we de-mould and cut… After 24 hours.
Soaps now curing for 6 weeks.
Update 2022: – we no longer make the Rooibos soap using the cold processed method but rather the hot processed method. Here we cook the soap mixture for a few hours in a crock pot which mean only 2 weeks for it to cure. Buchu essential oil has become so very expensive that we now make use of a Rooibos fragrance oil.
